Today my cat had kittens.
I wasn’t as excited as my wife was.
She had decided to let the mother cat lie on my best sweater. It was ”comforting” (apparently)
Anyway, thinking I’d have time to get my ”best sweater” before the birth, I let it be.
Well when I woke up this morning and saw afterbirth and mucus and christ knows what else I felt angry…but then I saw them.. not one, not two, but three beautiful kittens, my angry somewhat turned to complete overwhelming joy.
Even if the mother was a dirty stop out, look at her babies, they were gorgeous.
Christ, I’m getting old.

I’m sick of reading ‘How to’…

‘How to fix your internet’
‘How to re-paint your enamel bathtub’
‘How to sort out your hoover’

How about …… turn on the hoover, stand in a bath full of water, tip the hoover into the bath and drop the internet cable in beside you.

I mean if you have to look up the internet for such ridiculous things, really, my suggestion is your best bet.
